Facilities: datacenter_complete.csv canonical dataset built by the datacenter.py pipeline from OSM Overpass, Baxtel, HIFLD, EIA-860, and FCC/Census geocoding, with county-assessor construction years for Northern Virginia. Compliance & emissions: NERC violation records, EPA ECHO, EPA eGRID subregion CO₂ factors, SEC EDGAR filings, state PUC dockets. Synthetic tier-based estimates are segregated into *_est columns and never mixed with sourced values.
₿ Bitcoin Energy Impact Tracker (btc.html)
Facility layer: 116 industrial-scale US Bitcoin mining sites compiled from public-miner SEC filings and investor materials (MARA, Riot, Core Scientific, CleanSpark, Cipher, TeraWulf, Hut 8, IREN, Bitfarms and others), Global Energy Monitor's crypto-mining records, and 2025–26 trade press; Baxtel used for site-name cross-reference only. Every row carries a source URL and a confidence grade. Extends datacenter_complete.csv, which tags only 8 of 9,148 rows as crypto mining. Validation: the 7,211 MW bottom-up total lands within 5% of the independent top-down estimate (930 EH/s network × 37.5–40% US share × 21–22 J/TH). Grid join: the platform's five-year per-ISO hourly files plus balancing authorities ingested from EIA-930 via fetch_ba_hourly.py; last 12 months sorted into 20 equal-count net-load buckets to form the observed supply stack. Demand response & policy: dc_flexibility_data.js (ERCOT ERS/Load Resources/4CP, PJM Capacity Performance with ELCC, TX SB 6, PJM CIFP, FERC Orders 2222/2023). Curtailment cases: 02_known_cases.csv KNOWN-005 (Riot, $31.7M) and KNOWN-006 (Applied Digital, $5.2M) — the only two facility-level curtailment values in public evidence. Emissions: 11_grid_operator_emissions.csv where available, otherwise computed from each BA's observed fuel mix; marginal factors are a gas/coal blend at EPA unit-level typicals, not dispatch-modelled. Known limits: ERCOT carries no price series (its curve is modelled and flagged); MISO and SPP price feeds are compressed and flagged; TVA, Duke, FPL and the ingested vertically integrated BAs have no clearing price at all, so price and wholesale-cost outputs are suppressed there. Gap Scores are composite indices — do not cite as primary data.

Seven countries, each from its national operator's public API: Canada — IESO with EIA-930 fallbacks; Australia — AEMO NEMWeb dispatch; UK — Elexon BMRS and National Grid Carbon Intensity API; Ireland — EirGrid; Iceland — Orkustofnun and Landsvirkjun with Eurostat energy balances; Germany — SMARD.de (Bundesnetzagentur) quarter-hourly national + four TSO control areas, CO₂ intensity via Energy-Charts (Fraunhofer ISE); France — RTE éCO2mix via the ODRÉ open data platform. Every country section carries a LIVE/DEMO badge indicating whether loaded data came from a real collector run.

US fleet map (94 operating reactors, 54 sites) with restarts, construction, and announced projects; live EIA-930 nuclear output; NRC regulatory timeline through 10 CFR Part 53 (effective Apr 2026) and 2025 executive orders.
